TIE in JQ?
In 3 years of Playing GW, I have never actually seen a Tie in JQ, that is untill recently. How are the ties actually delt with? both teams lose? I have often heard that if Tie, the winner would be decided by whomever has the most shines capped. Not in this case!

That is not a tie because you lost. You only received 2,500 faction. I have been on the winning side of a 10-10 tie and received 3,500 faction. So, although the score is the same there is a winner and a loser because in actuality one of the jade carriers reached the goal before the other did. It's the same as having an 11-8 score in JQ. The carriers still carry the jade for awhile after one team has reached 10.
You have played 3 years of GW or 3 years of JQ? I only ask because of the supplied picture. Last edited by Terrible Surgeon; Apr 26, 2010 at 09:20 PM // 21:20.. |

Yeah, there is a delay between the team reaching 10 points and them winning the game, so it would be whoever reached 10 first though. I'm not sure what would happen if they reached 10 at the same time, however... And btw, Mark of Protection is burning my eyes. You should know how terrible that skill is, especially after three years. Even Healing Hands would be better, but not by much. |

I am on a second account in that pic. Account is very limited in skills with only having Prophecies and Factions on it (my primary account has all campains and 28 maxed titles on warrior atm). But thx for clearing the question up.

Nice bar.
On-topic: This is old. I have personally seen it numerous times. Welcome to JQ, btw. ^___^ |

if both teams got to 10 at exactly the same time id imagine that thr kurzicks woild win because the game checks K before L. im just going off of assumptions from ab tho.

I would suspect that if both teams got jade in at EXACTLY the same time (which is doubtful, though I don't know how minute the game goes with time calculations), then it would end up as a draw, and it would say DRAW across the screen like it does in gvg if both guild lords are killed at the same time.
But yeah, you definitely didn't tie, you lost because they got theirs in a little bit sooner. |

It was down to the raw millisecond difference between the time their team and your team set their final scores, unfortunately your team was just that tiny tiny tiny bit slower.

Actually it happened to me once that our team scored 10, then the other scored 10 (before we were given victory) and we lost, so it might be the other way around.
